Hey 8Cers!!!

Take a look at the last post that I wrote yesterday and reflect on how you would like to finish up the school year.....   Don't forget the MATH EXAM coming up in a few weeks.. there will be more information to follow in the coming days.

GEOG -->  p. 210 1-2 + Vocab

LA -->  BOOK REPORT (Assignment coming next week)

WEDNESDAY......

Hey everyone!!!

Just a reminder of what we discussed today... remember to make good choices for yourself and don't let others make those choices or decisions for you!  Every action we take has a re-action to it... and in some instances even consequences.  I believe that everything happens for a reason and that life is always giving us examples of how to be better people... and always giving us lessons to help us grow as individuals.  

Even if you fall down or make a mistake.... it's important to get back up and learn from the mistake that you have made.  Making a mistake is okay, but repeating the same mistake is foolish.  You are all great kids and I know that you will make mistakes as you go along in life... but remember that making mistakes is part of being human so long as we learn from them.

I know that you all have the intentions and aspirations of being good people... so let's see your best qualities shine through 8C!!!  

HOMEWORK/REMINDERS:

1) MATH -->  Mini-Test tomorrow (properties of lines + angles)  &  EXAM in FEB (more info to come)

2)  LA -->  BOOK REPORT (COMING SOON)  - finish novels

3)  SCIENCE -->  Project Presentations due tomorrow

Thursday's Math Test

For Thursday's Math Test/Quiz, it will cover angles (right, obtuse, acute, straight, reflex), supplementary + complimentary angles, and the properties of Parallel lines + triangles.

The test is NOT a unit test... it's just to see whether you understand what we have covered in Geometry so far.

So EXCITED to be BACK!!!

Hey 8Cers!!!! (so good to say that again!)

I am so thankful to be back to school!!!  Today was such an exciting and awesome day of school.... I haven't felt like that for such a long time!!!  Thank you for carrying yourselves out with respect over the last week that I have been away and getting your work completed!!!  And yes.... I did miss all of you even while I was sleeping or dying on my couch!!!

We have a lot to accomplish from now to the end of the school year and I look forward to working with  all of you to get you prepared for high school!!!

Thanks for being such an amazing and dynamic group of kids (or adolescents)!!! Looking forward to a rewarding and incredible rest of middle school with all of you!!!
